The Vestry is the governing Board of St. Matthew Church.  It has three primary responsibilities: parish finances, care of the buildings and grounds, and choosing people for parish leadership. The vestry, under the leadership of the clergy, makes and shares the decisions that affect the parish as a whole, including our mission as a Christian community.

The vestry consists of nine elected members, including Senior and Junior Wardens. Each vestry member serves a three-year term, with the terms staggered. The Junior and Senior Wardens, along with the Pastor, lead the vestry, determine what matters need to be addressed, and run the monthly meetings.

Vestry meetings are currently held the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm. All vestry meetings are open. Anyone wishing to address the vestry should contact the Pastor or Senior Warden to be put on the agenda.
